It doesn’t matter if you are a complete novice and are looking for a new hobby, or an experienced bowler, we have a place for you.

 

We offer a range of affordable annual membership packages:

 

• New members can join at the discounted rate of £55

• Single membership: £160

• Social membership £55

• Family membership (2 adults and all children under 18) £308

• Junior membership (under 18) £23

 

Don’t worry if you’ve never played before, we can provide a gentle introduction and all necessary equipment (bowls etc.) to get you off and running. The only thing you will need is flat soled shoes. No need for formal clothing either, we are relaxed and modern club.

 

Bowls at Woodend is about more than competition. We pride ourselves on an inclusive club culture where new members quickly become part of the group. After games, many stay for tea, coffee, or something stronger — the social side of the club is just as important as the sport.
